Looking for a good workout with cardio, strength, and core? This is good one!
When it gets cooler in the summer we move our workouts from our basement gym to our garage where we can add in things like battle ropes, tire flips, and box step-ups.
If you do not have any of the equipment sub in something that you do have or just do something bodyweight. Example – if you do not have battle ropes, grab a jump rope or even do some jumping jacks.
Overview/Timing
There are 7 stations with 3 things at each station. We are going go to through each station, reset the time, and then go through each station a second time. Each exercise will be done for 25 seconds with a 10 second break. After you complete 2 rounds, set the clock for 10 rounds of 20 seconds on/5 seconds off core work. (Choose 10 different core moves)
Station 1: Battle Ropes
- Alternating
- Slam/Slam/Burpee
- Flys
Station 2: Box
- Bent over Heavy Row Right
- Tricep Dips
- Bent over Heavy Row Left
Station 3: Down and Backs
- Walking Lunges
- Bear Crawl
- Run
Station 4: Tire
- Sledge Hammer Hits
- Russian Twist (Feet in tire)
- Sledge Hammer Hits
Station 5: Kettlebells/Dumbbells
- Clean/Squat/Press
- High Pulls
- Lateral Lunges
Station 6: Core
- Flutters
- Reverse Crunch with a kick
- Scissors
Station 7: Kettlebells/Dumbbells
- Snatch Right
- KB/DB Swing
- Snatch Right
This workout takes between 30-45 minutes total and is one of my favorites. I hope you enjoy it too.
