A few days without internet access is finally a great feeling for me, but comingback to what seems to be endless email…not such a great feeling. During these internet free days (and lots of phone usage) I have finally come to the conclusion that is time to finally leave Cingular. My reception is embarressing and […]
My random rant or the the day…I am all for automating processes, making information easily available, etc…but what is the deal with companies that request you put in your account # or phone # while you wait to “better direct your call” only to have to enter it again later in the menu, and then […]
Well, I thought I would do my part, hope my site gets indexed…perhaps leading a few more people to this post so they can then perhaps read about the 1,000 gryhounds that are going need homes. Greyhounds Only is trying to place as many dogs as possible in loving homes. If you live near Chicago […]
Here’s to you Rosa Park. Thanks for daring to be different. You will forever be remembered.
Joe Paterno has once again shown the world that there is more to winning and losing…there is sportsmanship. Depeche Mode will always be one of my favorite bands of all times. So many of my memories growing up can easily be recounted depending on […]
It still surprises me when I find “cool” news from paper news sources. I read so many newsfeeds from so many web sites…not too much gets past me. I was reading Stuff Magazine (yeah, I read it…I like stuff too) and came across something I was shocked I had not seen before: the iDog. Pretty […]
I know that I was blown away after seeing “What the Bleep Do you We Know?“. A co-worker had recommended this documentary to me after she saw it in the theatre, but lame me, never saw it…until last night. I am the last person to show interest in physics. Anyone that knows me, knows I […]
Something I have known for years…now everyone else does too 😉 Go Penn State.
Well…it is that time of year when most people’s golf season is winding down. (This was a busy summer for me and my golf game never really wound up). A friend of mine emailed me tonight and asked what golf bag I would recommend. The lucky bastard got a thank you gift from his boss, […]
I have decided to write a four part article on the benefits of using Nagios. The first article focused on why I chose Nagios/what it offers. The second article focused on installing Nagios on Mac OS X. The third article focused on configuring Nagios. This fourth article will focus on improving the Nagios interface and […]
