Some Things Never Change

Items on my dresser

Yesterday I walked in my bedroom and had to laugh when looking at my side of the dresser. I guess I will always be a kid at heart with my Pocket Simon, a lego version of the Sears tower, my cap gun from when I was little, my little people on their playground toys, a ceramic figurine I have had since first grade, and a football. A good deal of that stuff is usually on my dresser – but the football and cap gun put it over the top with coolness 😉 Who wants to come over and play?

LEGOs Anyone?

photo2While looking through a pile of links this morning – I came across something really cool for LEGO lovers: I LEGO N.Y.

Personally I recently nailed up a LEGO board on my office wall so I could start adding pieces to make something fun and creative when I was either stressed out or stuck on something.

So far – I only have six pieces in place – but who knows – perhaps one day it will be something really cool. I have a huge mason jar on the shelf above my desk just waiting to be placed, a LEGO cooling system that I built that is between my Mac Mini and my 500 gig external drive (the LEGO cooling system promotes air flow), and a little LEGO man that stands on my Mac Mini to remind me not to take myself so seriously all the time.

Regardless – I absolutely love LEGOs and the I LEGO N.Y. post brought a huge smile to my face – and I bet it will yours too once you see it!
