Training For: 2026 Chicago Spring Half Marathon

This training cycle I have been dealing with some foot ligament issues on my left foot. I changed my icing so there is not pressure on it but that 12 mile run really aggravated it. I could barely walk later alone run the 5 miles today.

I got on the treadmill and thought I would do a 5 minute warmup and see how it felt but I could not even go 3MPH before it was uncomfortable. I decided to then just take it slow and walk 1.43 miles to still move but to hopefully not aggravate it more.

I watched an episode of Derry Girls while walking and decided that distance was enough and that I would try and see how it felt tomorrow.

Work to treadmill. My left top of the foot has been hurting so bad I did not want to go outside/get stuck 4 miles out.

Stretching focusing on that foot.
