Endurance and Change

Random

Over the past year or so I have greatly cut down on my posting to my web site. I think most bloggers at one point or another get to a point of either frustration, being overwhelmed, and just give up. I have had a lot of time to think – and have decided that it is time for a change. Time to get back in the groove and instead of focusing on the bad or the frustrating – it is time to focus on the good and helping others.

This has been a hard year for me personally. I have lost two of the most influential people in my life and to say life has been busy/hectic is an understatement. When the going gets tough – I tend to add more to my plate and to push myself farther than I thought I could ever do. To deal with the increased stress I started running. I have run in a few 5Ks and plan to run a few more before the year is out. Running helps clear my mind and has made me stronger. A little over a month ago I started also going to Endurance XT to really hone in on my Operation Sarah Connor physique. Every class is harder than the last and nothing is easy or fun. I come home tired and sore, but at the end of the day I am glad I did it and look forward to the next time.

When things get hard, just remember – just when you think you can’t…you can. We are all more resilient than we think. Expect more from people, not less. That is my new mantra and that is what I am going to try with this site in the next few weeks/months.
