Yeah - I agree. In general I am not a huge drop down fan because of exactly what you said. They tend to be more frustrating than anything, but I think these are pretty easy and stress-free. ;)

There are few things I find more irritating that a site that has sketchy (I call em popup menus in general) drop down menus. You know the kind that you mouse out of the magical area that is still menu land as you're navigating 20 sub-menus deep and lose all that progress. These are very nice, I like it a lot, especially for the fact that it highlights the entire area of the menu item you're on atm and you know you're in it. Awesome work! :D

[...] Previously - I introduced a nice way to create drop down menus using HTML (lists), Javascript (drop down), and CSS (styling of menu). I put all of this together and called it: Jappler Menus. (See previous post about Jappler Menus). [...]

Portable DVD players are a life saver. I remember sitting on long car rides being bored out of my mind as a kid - I'd have given my left arm for a DVD player or video game system.

Now, Ashley is a whiz with the iPhone and watches movies on it at her leisure (our portable DVD player - the 5th we've burned through - just died).

As far as tuning out in the future, I doubt it. I think we'll become even more connected. Personally, I can't wait. Stick a WiFi chip in my brain already!

That's awesome that they did that. I had to do something similar a ways back and it makes sense that they'd see this sort of thing regardless of how many times they try to beat 'backup your music' into people's heads.

Out of idle curiosity, how big do you think your set of iTunes purchases is?

That's very cool! You know I still am working mostly in perl (too freaking busy getting things done to spend much time in ruby, though I have a plan to do some projects in parallel when I do have the time) and I have temp.pl and test.pl littered around my local and server accounts for doing this sort of testing.
